Lately it's been very cold here in the pacific northwest. It was in the low 20's last night, but warming up nicely to a balmy +32 today.
This painting is in memory of warmer day's.
Title: At the Top
Size: 5" x 5"
Painted on 140 lb. Arches cold press.
Nice looking sky on this one. Its warmed up to 32 degrees there eh? ;) I think its cooled down to about 20 here tonight. . .
ReplyDeleteI really love this painting, and how you did the trees. I could see this translate well to a 5ft by 5ft painting too. the sky is lovely and I like the title too :)
ReplyDeleteThat little painting needs a nice wide white mat and then it need to come live with me.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful perspective Nancy! I agree with Yoma about this looking really nice in a large frame with a large mat. I think it would emphasize the color.
ReplyDeleteI'm lucky...it was 73 here today. However, it is a little unsettling for it to be this temperature in January. I've got to wonder about the state of those polar ice caps.
Great painting! (I guess I won't tell you about our 72 degree weather then - sorry, just had to).
ReplyDeleteI thought you might find some inspiration from this watercolor blog:
