#3 - I Really Don't Know Clouds at All ...

I Really Don't Know Clouds at All, 6" x 6" oil on canvas, © 2012 Nancy Van Blaricom

This is a local scene from very near-by.  I love these puffy wispy clouds. Living in the Pacific Northwest we see a lot of different kinds of clouds and I think I'll try painting more of them.

I can't think of clouds without thinking of Joni Mitchel's  song "Both Sides Now" how about you?

Beautiful painting! I really like the depth you've captured here with the clouds. Nice reflections in the water also!

Ah, Joni, I grew up with her. My favorite is "For Free"; I know it by heart.

This is very fetching, and makes me feel like I've gotten a nice warm vacation from the cold!

I love these daily paintings!
Joni Mitchell was an amazing artist, too, you know. I had the opportunity to see an exhibit of her work a couple years ago and it was fantastic.
