The Art of a Sketchbook

Bird Sketches from Barnes & Nobel sketchbook, Graphite, ©2012, Nancy Van Blaricom

I think I'm back on track now... and I haven't  forgotten about "Sketchbook Friday". Here are a few bird sketches I've done recently.

These were all done in my Barnes & Noble sketchbook that I told you about back in September.  I've sketched in this particular sketchbook almost daily since I bought it back in July.

  2. Cool! Being a birder myself, I have to wonder, how do you get them to sit still long enough to sketch them? ;) I can't get them to stay still long enough to snap a photo.

  4. These are lovely, Nancy. I especially like the top row... soft and delicate. I have the Barnes & Noble sketchbook also, and think its great.
